125th Argentine Open - The Biggest Polo Event In The World
The Argentine Open is the biggest Polo tournament in the world. Played in the home of the whole family of Polo, The 125th Argentine HSBC Polo Open plans to become the best sporting event on the planet. The 125th Argentine Open was to start from 10th November, 2018 but was postponed for 2 days due to heavy rainfall. The tournament will witness it’s first day on 14th November instead. 10 teams grouped into two zones will participate in the World’s largest interclub event. The handicap of the participating teams will range from 28 to 40 goals. Best players from Argentina, Canada, South Africa and Uruguay will play in the Argentine Field of Polo in Palermo.

Argentina Polo Fields have completely renovated this year to accommodate the greatest expression of sport. This year, the Polo show does not start with the first ball or end with the last bell. The 125º Argentine HSBC Polo Open will be experienced intensely both inside and outside the field. “With a gastronomic proposal of first level, summoning to the best artists of the moment, and in a totally renewed space, the event installs within the obligatory schedule of the month of November in Argentina, having been declared of National Interest for the third consecutive year by the General Secretary of the Presidency of the Nation.

125th Argentine Open, the biggest Polo tournament in the world inaugurated at the Argentine field of Polo in Palermo. 10 teams grouped into two zones are competing in the World’s largest interclub event.

The third day of the 125th Argentine Open, the world's largest interclub event, witnessed tough battles between the undefeated La Ensenada and La Aguada in the first match of the day. La Aguada were victorious despite losing Ignacio Novillo Astrada to injury in the first half. La Dolfina Sancor Seguros won their debut match of the tournament against Polo Ranch.
Las Monjitas' victory against La Cañada Angiocor Daily Racing Form on the fourth day marked their second victory of the tournament. Hurlingham Open winners, Ellerstina Johor defeated Cría Yatay WeWork on day 4 of the tournament.

Ellerstina Johor won their second match of the tournament when they defeated Albertina Abu Dhabi in the first match of the 6th day. Cria Yatay WeWork achieved its first victory in the tournament after defeating La Canada Angiocor Daily Racing Form in the second match on the 6th day of the tournament.

La Dolfina Sancor Seguros qualified for the finals of the 125th Argentine Open after beating La Ensenada on the seventh day of the tournament. The team played a great game against the young team of La Ensenada. The second match of the day was played between La Aguada and Alegria - La Irenita. An energetic match between the two teams concluded with La Aguada defeating Alegria - La Irenita and once again positioning itself among the top four.

The unbeaten and five-time defending champion of the Argentine Open, La Dolfina Sancor Seguros, won with authority against La Aguada Polo Club and qualified as the first finalist of the 125th Argentine Open of HSBC Polo. La Dolfina Sancor Seguros will play its 18th final on Saturday, 15th December.

La Monjitas will play the Argentine Open finals for the first time on 15th December. La Monjitas won their match against Ellerstina Johor to proceed to the finals of the tournament. In a nail-biting match, La Monjitas kept their calm throughout and ended up with a great victory over rivals.

La Monjitas will play against La Dolfina Sancor Seguros in the finals of the 125th Argentine Open on Saturday, 15th December.
