AMITY POLO CUP : Finals

indal Panther concluded the Delhi Polo season with a victory over Delhiites Polo in a thrilling match held at Jaipur Polo Ground.

The Amity polo cup in it’s 10th edition marked the end of the Delhi Polo Season. The Amity Polo Club has successfully managed to raise funds for their charity , the Amity Humanitarian Foundation in the last decade.

On the occasion of the 10th Amity Polo Cup, a unique book on the regal sport - Polo was also released.

A total of six teams divided in two pools faced up to each other in hopes of winning the last trophy of the season, and expected it was a delight for the spectators as well as the players in action. The finals of the Amity Polo Cup was played on Sunday, 10th December in which Jindal Panther ran out winners by 5 goals to 3(1/2) .

Gaurav Sahgal started the scoring for Delhiites polo who had started with a (1/2) goal on handicap. Simran Shergill started the scoring for Jindal Panther and added two more for his team in the second chukker. Dhruvpal Godara reduced the deficit and the score at the end of the second chukker was 3goals to 2 (1/2) . The third chukker saw both teams score one goal each. Simran Shergill guided his team to victory scoring another in the last chukker , his fifth for the game and the score at the end of the final chukker was 5 goals to 3(1/2) favour of Jindal Panther.
