The Arena Polo World Cup is set to return in June with its sixth edition in Azerbaijan. The polo tournament is like no other as it is a hybrid of arena, snow and outdoor polo. The rules are unique or rather a combination of the aforementioned variants of the game. The combination of rules makes this tournament a treat for the spectators and players alike due to the thrills and excitement on the field. The hospitality of the Azeri people also makes this a crowd favourite.

This year, Baku residents and visitors from further afield will enjoy the excitement of the Sixth Arena Polo World Cup Azerbaijan from 15th - 17th June at the Elite Horse & Polo Club, Baku.

The tournament will welcome the beloved Azerbaijan Land of Fire team following their success at the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz. The tournament will see a total of four international teams, made up of three players each. The handicap of each between 10-12 goals.

Along with the spectacular polo, Baku will host a number of social events for the guests and VIPs. The creator of the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz, Reto Gaudenzi, who is also the event organiser has ensured the event will be under the “touch of Gaudenzi magic” spell. To round off the thrilling occasion, there will be a star studded Polo Night. Jan-Erik Franck known as “The Voice of Polo” will also be on hand to impart his knowledge of the sport and entertain the masses.
