Argentina Polo Association (AAP) Announces The End Of Season Handicaps
After the highest level Club Championship, 125th Argentine Open, winded up with La Dolfina Sancor Seguros emerging as the winners, AAP conducted a modification of handicaps. La Dolfina Sancor Seguros was awarded the Tortugas Country Club Open and 125th Argentine Open and Ellerstina Johor was awarded the RUS open of Hurlingham. Santiago Toccalino, of Los Monjitas, the runner-ups of the 125th Argentine Open, saw its valorisation rise to 9 goals of handicap. Gonzalo Pieres held a +10 handicap for the past 13 years, saw his handicap decrease to 9 goals.

The 10 goalers in Argentina are 9 in number: Adolfo Cambiaso, Guillermo Caset, Pablo Mac Donough, Juan M. Nero, Facundo, Nicolas and Pablo Pieres, David Stirling and Hilario Ulloa. Among the most important decreases were Fredrick Mannix, who went from 9 goals handicap to 8 goals, Lucas Monteverde, whose handicap slipped from 8 goals to 6. Alejandro Agote, Gonzalo Deltour, Silvestre Donovan and Gonzalo Von Wernich went from +7 to +6 handicap.

Bautista Bayugar took the most outstanding leap from 6-goals handicap to 8. Juan Britos, Julian de Lusarreta and Juan M. Zubia rose from a 7-goal handicap to +8. Martín Aguerre, Bartolomé Castagnola, Santiago Cernadas, Raúl Colombres, Lucas Díaz Alberdi, Santiago Loza, Martín Podestá, Genaro Ringa and Isidro Strada were promoted from +6 to +7.

In total, the amendments that are valid as of January 1, 2019, were 233, of which 156 correspond to increases and 77 to decreases, attentive to the provisions of the Board of Directors at its meeting chaired by Eduardo Novillo Astrada.
