ARMY CDR POLO CUP : SEMI - FINALS
The Semi-finals of the Army CDR Cup were played on 5th October, 2018.The first semi final was played between ASC Col Girdhari Team and LA Pegasus Polo-Titans and second semi final was played between Mumbai Polo and Chandna Group.

Jaipur, Rajasthan - The Semi-finals of the Army CDR Cup were played on 5th October, 2018. Mumbai Polo Team, ASC Col Girdhari team, LA Pegasus Polo Titans and Chandna Group polo team qualified for the semi-finals. The finals of the cup will be played on 6th October, 2018. LA Pegasus Polo - Titans faced ASC Col Girdhari Polo team in the first semi-final of the cup. Mumbai Polo played against Chandna Group in the second semi-final.
ASC Col Girdhari Team Vs LA Pegasus Polo Titans
The first semi final of the Army CDR Cup saw these two giants fight for a place in the finals. ASC Col Girdhari Polo team played in orange while LA Pegasus Polo Titans stepped in the ground covered in blue. Cote Zegers and Vishal Singh were the umpires of the match. ASC Col Girdhari team played with a total of +7 handicap and were awarded 0.5 points before the match started. LA Pegasus Polo Titans played with +8 handicap, so the match started on a score of 0.5 - 0. ASC Col Girdhari team played with Akshay Malik (0), Navin Singh (+2), Hamja Ali (+3) and Col GS Pandher (+2). LA Pegasus Polo Titans played with Mayurdhwaj Singh (-2), Raghav Rao (+1), Uday Kalaan (+3) and Simran Shergill (+6).
Both the teams looked in good form but ASC Col Girdhari team showed brilliant team effort and were able to win the match. ASC Col Girdhari team were able to score 8 goals and allowed LA Pegasus Polo Titans to score only 4 goals in the match. Simran Shergill scored all the 4 goals for LA Pegasus Polo Titans. ASC Col Girdhari won the match by 8.5 - 4.
Mumbai Polo Team Vs Chandna Group
The second semi final of the Army CDR Cup saw Mumbai Polo team play against Chandna Group. Mumbai Polo team played in blue and Chandna Group were shining bright in yellow. Both the teams played with a total +8 handicap. Mumbai Polo team had Vandit Golecha (0), Shyam Mehta (0), HH Maharaja Padmanabh Singh (+3) and Abhimanyu Pathak (+5) playing for the team. Chandna Group played with Ranshay Purohit (-2), Gaurav Sehgal (+3), Ashok Chandna (+1) and Gerardo Mazzini (+6). It was a very intense match as two very strong teams competed against each other.
It was a good match as both the teams gave a tough competition. But Chandna group emerged as the strongest between the two. Chandna Group won against Mumbai Polo team by 7 - 3.
The finals of the Army CDR Polo Cup will be played on 6th October between Chandna Group Polo team and ASC Col Girdhari Polo team.
