Riley Ganzi scored the winning goal in the thirty seconds left and led her team to win the coveted Beach Polo World Cup. La Martina defeated Macallan with the score of 5-4.5 on sunday on the beach front of W South Beach Hotel.La Martina finished the three-day tournament undefeated at 3-0 with Jesse Bray, Juan Bollini and Ganzi scoring 18 goals. Bray and Ganzi each scored two goals and Bollini gained one in the final chukker. Macallan finished with a 2-1 record and 14.5 goals.

The most Valuable player was named Roldan, Cardinal Newman alum after scoring three goals as well as Centarous owned by Wellington-based Santa Rita Polo Farm and ridden by Bray in the fourth chukker was acknowledged as Karma Best Playing Pony. Reto Gaudenzi along with co-founders Tito Gaudenzi, Melissa and Marc Ganzi, Fernando Torres and Bash Kazi mentioned “We are so happy to be back here”. Tito Gaudenzi was also seen quoting “We’re here and we’re here to stay. We are so happy with the turnout and the support. Hence, the world’s largest beach tournament was wrapped up.
