Team Pilot And Dutta Corp Clash For The Butler Handicap Trophy
Enlightened with delightful winds waving towards the land of Wellington, Florida and magnificent it is, the blooming crowd compelling their presence at the polo field of International Polo club palm beach. Sun arousing from the level of water, leaving the mark of warm shadows. The feature game of the week at the International Polo Club Palm Beach, Wellington saw an exciting Final match in the 2019 Ylvisaker Cup bracket in which 2 teams revoking each other battling for victory.

PILOT V/S DUTTA CORP The feature game of the week at the International Polo Club Palm Beach saw an exciting match in the 2019 Ylvisaker Cup bracket in which two teams, Dutta Corp go head to head with Pilot Team for uplifting the trophy in their hands with pride. Both teams excited to face each other to show what they are capable of.

The first chukker under ways and Pilot team looking to ruin Dutta Corp’s team undefeated season. Out of a sudden, Lucas Alberdi cut the ball between the goal post and adding the first goal to the account of Dutta Corp’s. Timmy Dutta was working hard to keep the defenders on their tails. In a moment, Dutta Corp’s team scoring 2 goals by penalty conversion and ending the chukker with the scorecard results as Dutta Corp’s- 3 and Pilot- 1.

The 2nd chukker undergoes with Pilot team began to push the boundaries and out of a sudden, scoring 3 goals in moment, 2 goals of those from penalty conversion and 1 goal from field hard work. In this chukker, Dutta’s Corp remains goalless. Here ends the chukker and the scorecard results are as follows, Pilot- 4 and Dutta Corp- 3. Pilot team snatching the lead from the opponent team, Dutta Corp.

In the 3rd and 4th chukker, both teams played with discipline, sticking to their men and creating room for their teammates to score. Trading goals twice and making quick, strategic plays, Pilot came out with a narrow lead 6-5 at halftime. An excellent team play by Pilot resulted in the final scorecard showing Pilot- 10 and Dutta Corp- 8.

Congratulations to PILOT for victory and winning the Butler Handicap Trophy, Final Cup of Ylvisaker Cup bracket. Kudos to the team performance. Pilot’s Matias Gonzalez was named Most Valuable Player. Whereas, Best Playing Pony honours were awarded to Argentine chestnut mare Open Kattia (Ellerstina Picaro x Karenza), a 9-year-old competing in her second season in the U.S. played by Facundo Pieres in the fifth chukker.

Historical background of Ylvisaker Cup tournament, the Butler Handicap trophy was presented in honour of Paul Butler and his close friendship with Bill Ylvisaker. Established at Oak Brook Polo Club (Oak Brook, Illinois) in 1954 in honour of Paul Butler, his litany of polo accomplishments, including 29 dedicated years on the USPA Board of Governors, warranted a commemorative tournament. Oak Brook Polo Club also played a large role in Bill Ylvisaker’s Polo career. In 2014, due to the combined efforts of the Butler family and the USPA, the historic Butler Handicap was officially adopted as a national USPA event.
