Cavalry Gold Cup 2017: Day 1
The first match of the Cavalry Gold Cup had Jindal Panther and Ascension competing. Playing for Jindal Panther were Simran Shergil, Sachin Sarbalia, Arif and Cutinelli R Goffredo and their opponents Ascension had Samir Suhag, Angad Singh Sandhu, Baljinder Dhillon & Akhil Sirohi.

he first match of the Cavalry Gold Cup had Jindal Panther and Ascension competing. Playing for Jindal Panther were Simran Shergill, Sachin Sarbalia, Arif and Cutinelli R Goffredo and their opponents Ascension had Samir Suhag, Angad Singh Sandhu, Baljinder Dhillon & Akhil Sirohi. While the game started with Ascension taking a lead in the first chukker with a score of 1.5-2, soon Ascension found it hard to maintain its lead as Jindal Panthers outscored their opponents in the subsequent chukkers. The score progression went as 1.5-2, 4.5-3, 6.5-5, 9.5-7 in favour of Jindal Panther
The second match was between Sona Polo & Rajnigandga Achivers. Gaurav Sehgal, Rakesh Sharma, Matthew Perry & Kartikeya Singh. The match saw both the teams playing a stellar game. Despite Rajnigandha Achievers defeat, the team gave the winning Sona Polo a run for their money as Sona Polo won narrowly, securing a score progression of 2-0, 2-2, 3-5 & 6-7.
