Defending champions Abu Dhabi won the most prestigious championship in UAE, the Emirates Open Polo Championship for the second time in two years.
They faced Maserati Polo Team in the finals , a team they had already beaten in the group stages.
The game started with UAE polo team getting off to a quick start, scoring one in the first chukker, before scoring three more in the second. They scored four more in the coming chukkers and beat their opponents convincingly by a margin of 8-3.
The hosts , Maserati Polo team were supported till the final whistle and did not give up despite the superior quality of their opponents. They managed to score three goals between them. The match umpires were Rafael Silva and Martin Aquerre while Marselo Lupes was the match referee.
