The future of polo is here, yes, the future, with the aim of making polo faster, more open, simpler and most of all, making polo a more enjoyable spectator sport. The goal is to create a Polo World Tour, and the Argentine Association of Polo (AAP), the Federation of International Polo (FIP), the Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA) and the United States Polo Association (USPA) have been helping the All-Pro Polo League to grow internationally, hosting tournaments in Argentina, the US, England, Spain, and Dubai. A brainchild of Javier Tanoira (Founder and Director) and Justo Del Carril ( Co-founder), the APPL has introduced a new set of rules, thereby revolutionizing the dynamics of the sport, and inducing a sense of acceptance for change. The teams competing are : * Eagles * Pampas * Koalas * Kings * Bantues The APPL is a massive opportunity for brands to form a close and personal relationship with the teams, thus laying foundations for the future. Speaking of future, Young up-and-coming full-time professional polo players have also been involved to form part of the only professional polo league of its kind. The All-Pro Polo League- the first 80 goal tournament- starts on the 1st of November, Wednesday at Pilarchio, as all eight 10-goal players take to the field to play by APPL rules. The first match of the future is hours away and will see the Eagles take on Pampas.
