As fashion world with time is becoming one of the most fruitful and outgrown industries, it is also pushing some elite international brands to take a plunge overseas to market their products. With countries growing economically, courtesy the fashion boom, the globalization of luxury brands is at its peak.
When the news about Harrys of London entering the Indian market broke, it was indeed news that could not be hushed. The affluent British brand for men fashion shoes and accessories is widely known for its leather range.
The fashion house plans to open their first store in Delhi and then later on in Mumbai in 2018. The brand already has its stores in more than 15 countries across the globe and they now aspire to spread franchise partners in India.
The brand exclusively focuses on businessmen and travelers in India from 25 to 60 years of age. It would be an extravagant display of the best of leather accessories those rule the fashion runway, says Steven Newey, the Chief Executive Officer. The brand also provides a range of travel bags, shoe-care products, scarves, wallets, and belts.
Harry’s of London plans to open 5 to 6 stores in India in the coming future.
The firm also sells products online and is actively part of the E-commerce platform. Each item conceptualized in Harrys of London is designed in the UK, then further manufactured in Italy and by the end of the year they plan to divert it to New York.
With the demand for the branded products and awareness in the fashion world, people have started to become more brand conscious and also incline towards it. The increase in the demand for men segment has been huge during this decade and Harrys of London surely aspires to take it to a higher level.
