Jaipur Polo Season 2018 took place under the patronage of Rajasthan Polo Club. Season's second tournament SMS Gold Vase subsidized by Royal Gems and Arts will take place from 9th January to 14 January 2018.

aipur Polo Season 2018 took place under the patronage of Rajasthan Polo Club commencing with Kota Cup. The next tournament SMS Gold Vase (8 goals) sponsored by Royal Gems and Arts, began its first day with two matches on 9th January and is still going on in full force will ultimately end on 14th January 2018. The two matches that took place on its first day came to an end with enthralling outcome. The opening league match that was held at 2 pm beheld two teams; Sahara Warriors and Bedla Polo. Both teams boasted prodigious players! Team Sahara Warriors included Ranshay Purohit (-2), Bhawani Singh Kalvi (+2), Matthew Perry (+6) and HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur (+2). Playing for Bedla Polo were Ajitesh Rathore (-2), Himmat Singh Bedla (+1), Sidhant Sharma (+3) and Simran Shergill (+6).

The first match began with a goal in first chukker by Matthew Perry of Sahara Warriors. Right after that, Sahara Warrior’s Bhawani Singh Kalvi scored 2 goals in the first chukker. In the second chukker, we could again see Bhawani Singh Kalvi who scored a goal. However soon enough, Simran Singh Shergill from Bedla Polo scored 2 goals in the second chukker and his teammate Himmat Singh Bedla ended the second chukker with a goal. Sahara Warrior’s Bhawani Singh Kalvi scored 2 goals in the third chukker. To that, Sidhant Sharma from the opponent team Bedla Polo scored a goal in the third chukker and lastly Matthew Perry of Sahara Warriors scored 1 goal ending the third chukker. The fourth chukker saw a total game change with Bedla Polo conquering the lead as Simran Singh Shergill scored 2 goals and ultimately Himmat Singh Bedla scored 2 goals in the fourth chukker concluding the match with the final of eight goals and defeating Sahara Warriors by one goal.

The second match began at 3:30 pm between Krishna Polo and Chandna Group. Playing for Krishna Polo were Ashwani Sharma (0), Hur Ali (-2), Shamsheer Ali (+6), and Vishal Singh (+4). Chandna Group had Dushyant Singh Talabagon (-2), Samir Suhag (+5), Ashok Chandana (+3) and Salim Azmi (+3). The first chukker started with Chandna Group’s Ashok Chandana who scored 1 goal. Krishna Polo’s Shamsheer Ali scored 1 goal and his patron Vishal Singh scored 2 goals in the first chukker. The second chukker only had a score of 1 goal by Krishna Polo’s Ashwani Sharma. Chandna Group’s Sameer Suhag scored 1 goal in the third chukker and his ally Ashok Chandana scored 1 goal in the third chukker. Vishal Singh of Krishna Polo ended the third chukker with 1 goal. The fourth and final chukker began with Ashok Chandana of Chandna Group who scored 1 goal and Krishna Polo’s Shamsheer Ali ended the fourth chukker with 1 goal winning the match with a final score of 6-4 defeating Chandna Group.
