Bin Drai took on Habtoor Polo on the third day of the Julius Baer Gold Cup 2018 at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club. The match was fiercely fought till the very last whistle as both teams gave their all on the pitch. Mahra opened the scoring and were three goals up by the end of the first chukker. Bin Drai and Mahra both scored twice in the second chukker and the score was 2-5 in favour of Mahra. Bin Drai scored two more in the third chukker to reduce the deficit to just two , the score being 6-4 by the end of it and ignited a comeback by Bin Drai.

The fourth chukker saw Bin Drai score four times in response to just one by Mahra to make the score shift in favour of Bin Drai to 8-7 thereby completing the comeback. The final chukker saw Mahra level things up and the score was tied 8-8. With just seconds left to play, precisely 30 seconds, Matias Torres Zavaleta scored the all important goal and won the match for Bin Drai. Bin Drai won the match by 9 goals to 8 with Matias Torres Zavaleta being the top scorer (4 goals).
