KRISHNA/BENAZ CORP Win Their First Match Of The RPC Cup

Jaipur, Rajasthan – The first day of the RPC Cup (06 goals) in Jaipur was an exciting one. With three matches being played simultaneously at the RPC ground, it was a good day for the audience as well as the players.


The second match of day 1 of the RPC Cup took place between Krishna/Benaz Corp and Polo Inn & Suites. The match took place on 12th September at 4:00 pm. In the 6-goal match, Polo Inn & Suites were playing with a total of +5 handicap. Krishna/ Benaz Corp stood confident with the likes of Vishal Singh (+3), Vicky Nihalani (+2), Sunny Patel (+1) and Ashvini Sharma (0). Polo Inn & Suites had a strong team set with Lokendra Singh Rathore (+3), Tarun Bilwal (+2), Vikramaditya (0) and Jaiveer Singh Gohil (0) ready to grab the match for their team. Polo Inn and Suites received a 0.5 lead before the match because they were playing with 1 handicap less. The match began with a score of 0.5 – 0, with Polo Inn & Suites in the lead. The match was completely one sided after the first chukker and Krishna/Benaz Corp had taken a good lead in the first half.

The match started with a goal from Sunny Patel, with Krishna/Benaz Corp taking the lead with a score of 1 – 0.5. The first chukker was a slow one and ended with a goal from VIkramaditya. The score at the end of the first chukker was 1 – 1.5 with Polo Inn & Suites in the lead. The second chukker started with Polo Inn & Suites extending their lead. Lokendra Singh Rathore scored for Polo Inn & Suites by a penalty. Krishna/Benaz Corp were quick to respond back with a goal from Ashvini Sharma. After the goal from Ashvini Sharma, Krishna/Benaz Corp gained confidence and took the charge of the game. At the end of first half, Krishna/Benaz Corp had taken a brilliant lead. The first half ended with a score of 5 – 2.5.

The Second half started and Polo Inn & Suites displayed a great game to decrease the lead. With goals from Vikramaditya and Tarun Bilwal, Polo Inn & Suites tried to stay in the game. The score was 6 – 4.5 with Krishna/Benaz in the lead. But Krishna/Benaz didn’t let Polo Inn & Suite score more in the third chukker and completely dominated the third chukker. With goals from Vicky Nihalani, Vishal Singh and Ashvini Sharma the score went upto 9 – 4.5 with Krishna/Benaz Corp in the lead.
Polo Inn & Suites were thrashed badly in the third chukker. The match was completely in favour of Krishna/Benaz Corp and they went completely defensive in the fourth chukker to prevent Polo Inn & Suites from scoring. The fourth chukker opened and Krishna/Benaz confidently stepped in the field and a goal from Vicky Nihalani extended their lead and the score was 10 – 4.5. In the whole chukker, Polo Inn & Suites could just manage 1 goal and the match ended with Krishna/Benaz Corp winning by 10 – 5.5. The match was quite exciting and it ended on a good note for Krishna/Benaz Corp.
