A synonym of beauty, Diamonds are pervaded with majestic ambience. Whenever we hear the word ‘Diamond’, the famous quote of Marilyn Monroe hits our mind




 

Diamonds are a girl’s best friend.

Orange - The rare pure orange shade occurs when there is an abundance of nitrogen during diamond formation. This fancy diamond was originally discovered in 1997 by a Central African Republic farmer and was later polished into a 5.54 carat masterpiece by William Goldberg Diamond Corporation’s owner William Goldberg. Popularly known as ‘Pumpkin Diamond’ it is a proud possession of ‘House of Harry Winston’ with a value of more than 3 million dollars.

Purple - Coming from one of the mines of South Africa, this lush in color diamond is worth 4 million. Originally discovered as a 4-carat peice, it was polished into a 3.37 carats of flawlessness. Infused with a V2V clarity, the diamond has a radiant purple shade and is called ‘Purple Orchid’. The current ownership of this beautifully rare diamond lies undiscovered.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Red - A fancy red colored diamond measuring around 5.11 carats is listed in the most rare diamonds list. With a brilliant triangular cut, the 20 million dollars expensive gemstone- Moussaieff Red Diamond, is the highest valued fancy red gem as per GIA. Shaped and crafted by William Goldberg Diamond Corporation, the ownership of this rare diamond lies with Moussaieff Jewellers Ltd.

Blue - ‘The Oppenheimer Blue’ is the largest blue diamond in the world with a total value of 57.5 million dollars. The 14. 62 carat gem is mounted on a shining platinum with two trapeze-shaped colorless diamonds in the sides. Named after late Sir Philip Oppenheimer, a renowned diamond dealer, it was auctioned by Christie’s and sold to a private collector whose name is still not highlighted.
