Opening Day Of The Army CDR Polo Cup (08 Goals)

Jaipur, Rajasthan – Some brilliant Polo action took place on first day of the Army CDR Polo Cup. The tournament which started on 1st October, will be played till Saturday, 6th October, 2018. The opening day of the Army CDR Polo Cup was quite aggressive and intense as three matches were played on the day.

LA Pegasus Polo Knights Vs Chandna Group
LA Pegasus Polo-Knights faced Chandna Group Polo team on day1 of the Army CDR Polo Cup. Both the teams played with a total of +8 handicap. LA Pegasus Polo Knights played with Hurr Ali (-2), Mitesh Mehta (+1), Sidhant Sharma (+4) and Dhruv Pal Godara (+5). Chandna Group Polo team faced LA Pegasus Polo Knights with Ransher (-2), Gaurav Sehgal (+3), Ashok Chandna (+1) and Gerardo Mazzini (+6) playing for them. The winner of the game was unpredictable till the last minute. The match was quite intense and the audience cheered every time the ball went anywhere near the goal. It was an exciting match which ended only on 1-goal difference.

Both the teams were in a close tie. It was a tough competition between the two but Chandna Group were able to close the match with a win. Chandna Group won the match on 1-goal difference by 7 – 6.

LA Pegasus Polo-Titans faced 61 Cavalry on day 1 of the Army CDR Polo Cup. Both the teams played with a total +8 handicap. 61 Cavalry had Captain Mritunjay, Aman Singh, Lt. Col Vishal Chauhan and Col Ravi Rathore on their side. LA Pegasus Polo-Titans played with Mayur Singh, Raghav Rao, Uday Kalaan and Simran Shergill on their side. 19 goals were scored in the game. It was an interesting game that ended with LA Pegasus Polo-Titans completely dominating the game in the second half.

It was an interesting game that could’ve landed on either side in the first half but LA Pegasus Polo-Titans made sure that they were the ones on the winning side. LA Pegasus Polo Titans beat 61 Cavalry by 12 – 7.

Carysil Polo Vs Rajnigandha Achievers
Carysil Polo faced Rajnigandha Achievers on Day 1 of the Army CDR Polo Cup. Carysil Polo played with Pathan Mansoor, Ashwani Sharma, Vishal Singh, and Sameer Suhag. Rajnigandha Achievers faced Carysil Polo with Sangram Singh, Pranav Kapur, Salim Azmi and Cote Zegers in the team. Carysil faced +8- handicap Rajnigandha Achievers with a team with a total of +6 handicap. The match started on a score of 1.5 – 0 with Carysil Polo in the lead as they were playing with less handicap.
