Once again the Polo enthusiasts are going to be treated with the best sporting action. Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club, the UAE’s only Royal Polo Club promises another exciting season with the popular Pink Polo Day on November 3.

Once again the Polo enthusiasts are going to be treated with the best sporting action. Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club, the UAE’s only Royal Polo Club promises another exciting season with the popular Pink Polo Day on November 3. In its eighth year, the highlight of the Pink Polo event is the exhibition match between an all-women’s Beverly Hills Polo team led by Shaikha Maitha Bint Mohammed Al Maktoum, against the men’s team going pink, consisting of Nasser Al Shamsi, Abdullah Ben Dasmal, Fahad Al Qubaisi and Ahmed Buqdain.
Over the years the Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club has hosted some of the best polo players in the world and has been patronized by sheikhs, visiting kings, dignitaries and famous personalities.Members of the UAE Royal families, top officials, celebrities and hundreds of fans are expected to attend the tournament whose objective is the support of breast cancer awareness and to raise funds. Keeping in mind such scenario the Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club are committed to bring the community together around such an important health issue.
Additional attractions over there will include camel and pony rides, face painting, magicians and a military skydiving show, which help give the one-of-its-kind event an overall family feel. The popularity of the Pink Polo tournament has inspired South Africa, Malaysia and Thailand to conduct similar events as part of their annual equestrian calendar.
Ghantoot Racing & Polo club will use the event as a platform to project the cultural landscape of the seven Emirates in the UAE and pay tribute to the strong relationship between the UAE and Saudi Arabia. At Pink Polo 2017, Meder 24x7 hospital will be raising breast cancer screening and awareness.
Further guests to the Pink Clinic will get a chance to talk to medical experts as well as undergo free screenings. Nehme Imad Darwiche, CEO of Jannah Hotels and Resorts invited Her Highness Sheikha Aisha the woman Rashid Al Mualla, the official sponsors and guests to the event. The Pink Polo event is a culmination of a month-long series of awareness drives in various colleges across Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and will definitely help to draw attention to this cause.
The keynotes of this event holds free entry for the public, food and beverages available in the food court, kids’ activities, pink clinic featuring Medical checks, Jannah Hotels & Resorts Lounge available and many more.
