King Power Gold Cup 2018

The Gold Cup at Cowdray Park Polo Club was launched in the year 1956. Played at 22 goal level, King Power Gold Cup is a high-level premier polo tournament in the world attracting the world’s most skilled polo players. Played in the immaculately spectacular Lawns of Cowdray Park, the cup is played to decide for the British Open Polo Championship. The Gold Cup received the title sponsorship of King Power commencing from 2018 for the next three years. With more than 15000 visitors, King Power Gold Cup is the largest attended polo day in U.K. El Remanso won the coveted cup by defeating La Bamba de Areco by 13-12.

Guards Youth and Cowdray Youth

Guards Polo Club young players confront their arch-rival from the cowdray park and create a bemusing spectacle as young players swing their mallets with formidable force. This tournament provides young British Polo players with the opportunity to not only display their excellent sportsmanship to the polo world but also learn from their rivals and compeers alike. The fierce competition is often displayed at the Flemish Farms. In the 2018 the Guards Youth managed a narrow victory over the Cowdray Youth by one goal.

Indian Empire Shield Final

This peculiar polo accolade in the shape of an enormous shield dates back to 1920s. Played by some of the leading 18-goal teams, this shield was revived by the Coworth Park Polo Club alongside the Valerie Halford Memorial. The Coworth Park Polo Club was started in 2001. Cowdray Vikings emerged victorious over the HB La Forge by in a sensational match of 9-5.

British Ladies Championship
British Ladies Championship happens through two handicap levels under the sponsorship of Hurlingham Polo 1875. The 6-12 Handicap will be known as the British Ladies Handicap Tournament, while the 12-18 goal tournament will be known as British Ladies Polo Open Championship. The finals of the tournament were played in the Lawns gardens for the first time ever for women polo. The fact that women polo is played at two mid-goal levels with the second tournament inching towards the high-goal handicap reflects the immense growth of women polo in U.K lately.

British Ladies Handicap Tournament (6-12)
A total of four teams participated in the tournament to compete for the championship at the beautiful lawns of Cowdray Park. The final match of the tournament brought together Ibiza Greylands teams in the confrontation in which Ibiza defeated Greylands in an unobstructed victory of 5-1.

British Ladies Open Championship (12-18 goal)
The high-goal Ladies open championship saw the participation of ten 18 goal teams fighting for the cup. The tournament remained highly exciting as all the participant teams performed brilliantly on the ground. The final match was a strenuous battle between the Dodson and Horell and UAE Polo Team in which the former defeated the latter by a score of 5-4.

POLO MASTERS/OPEN DE GASSIN
Polo Club Saint-Tropez organises the Polo Masters tournament to give young talented polo player ample opportunities to not only showcase the magic of their sportsmanship and but also learn a huge deal from world class exposure to polo. The Cup is organised at two handicap levels between 8-10 and 12-15 goal. The schedule for the Cup is 19/07/18 - 29/07/18. The 8-10 Goal championship was won by the Cibao la Pampa while the winner of the 12-15 goal championship remained Château d'Aulne.
