Ralph Lauren Designs The Wedding Dress For The First Time For A Non-Family Member
Priyanka Chopra, the first bride outside the Lauren’s family to wear a Ralph Lauren wedding gown with a 75-feet long veil and a unique blend of fabric and emotions.
The phenomenal fourth bridal invention of Ralph Lauren, apparently the first one for a member outside Lauren's family, was not just any ordinary wedding gown, but a masterpiece, a terrific and exceptional gown which had eyes watering and jaws opened when the lady walked down the aisle in that gala dress. The world’s most expensive fashion designer has designed bespoke bridal and bridesmaid looks only for member’s of Lauren family in all these 50 years - first for his daughter, second for his daughter in law and third for his niece. The world’s longest veil with pearls embellished from neck to toe, Ralph Lauren made a wonder out of that dress. A magnificent piece of marvelous craftsmanship and design with extraordinary emotional sentiments attached in the form of fabrics to the dress made it not just an incredibly amazing dress but also a memoir.
The first wedding gown from Ralph Lauren for his daughter Dylan Lauren in 2011 was embroidered in silk, an off shoulder satin, tulle, with a tiered train.

THE EXTRAVAGANT GOWN
An immaculate creation with the sheer long sleeve stunner was a hand-beaded and hand embroidered dress featuring floral and scroll motifs, lace-effect tulle appliques, 135 satin-covered buttons, scalloped sleeves and a high-neck collar giving it a tour de force.
The conspicuous wedding dress consumed 1826 man hours to complete. The column dress beneath the embroidered outer layer consisted of 2,380,000 mothers of pearlescent sequins. The Veil was a show stopper stretching 75 feet long(23 meters), the ethereal tulle number had to be held by multiple attendees and was perfectly fitting with all her white look. “Her veil was out of this world”. One of the twitter fans expressed their excitement after seeing the veil as “That veil is longer than the satan’s plans to ruin mankind”.
It was not just about the fanfare, it had a number of sentimental tributes too. Eight different words or phrases most important to the bride were handstitched on the gown including Nicholas Jerry Jonas, the husband’s name, their wedding date, and her parent’s name honoring the family and deepest love for them. Such emotional beauty was one of the rarest things in any wedding dress Ralph Lauren ever designed and making it look incredibly adorable is only the American designer’s cup of tea. The finishing touch that the designer so purely and delicately managed to blend was a piece of fabric sewn from her mother-in-law's wedding gown.

Except for the priceless gown, what made it more unique was the shiny, iridescent inner layer of the gown with mother of pearls that more looked like oysters and abalones shining in the wave of the white ocean.
