Colorado faced Valiente in the finals of the Butler Handicap. On Sunday, March 11th at the international Polo Club Palm Beach in Wellington, Florida.
Colorado had a one goal advantage before the start of the match but it was soon cancelled as Cambiaso scored twice to level the game 4-all. However, a strong display in the third chukker saw Colorado score two more to make it 6-4 at halftime.
The next two chukkers saw Pieres unleashed a wave of attack at the Colorado defence and Valiente had a 9-6 lead heading into the final chukker.Both the teams scored two goals each in the final chukker and, Valiente won the match by 11 goals to 8 and with it the 26-goal Butler Handicap Final.

Contributing five of Valiente’s 11 goals, Adolfo Cambiaso was named Most Valuable Player. Best Playing Pony honours were presented to Tanita, an American Thoroughbred owned by J5 Equestrian and played by Cambiaso in the fifth chukker.
