Pompeya Polo (Cordoba) went up against Los Sauces (San Luis) in the finale of the Sesquicentennial Cup of the May Revolution, played in the province of Tucuman. A total of ten teams had participated between 10 and 16 valorisation goals.
The Sesquicentennial Cup, for the first time ever, was won by Pompeya Polo team (Cordoba) after defeating Los Sauces by 14 goals to 12.

The fourth chukker saw the lead shift in favour of Cordoba for the first time in the match and the score was 10-8 going into the fifth chukker. San Luis made a comeback in the fifth and were just one goal shy from levelling the tie, but Cordoba held on and went into the final chukker with a slight 1 goal advantage, 11-10. The final chukker saw Cordoba win the match by 14 goals to 12 despite best efforts by San Luis.
