Abierto De Pilar Chico 2025 Enthralls Polo Fans In Argentina

A pool of eight elite-class teams was ready to face one another for the title of Abierto De Pilar Chico. A dozen matches were showcased at the event. Here’s a recap:

Participating Teams 

Match 7: Velay vs La Dolfina 

Date: 15 April

Fast-forwarding to the seventh game of the tournament, Velay and La Dolfina faced each other in an intensely close game. The game was hanging by a thread and could have turned either way. However, Velay used their great composure, kept their calm despite being under pressure, and maintained a single-point lead to pick up the win in this game. 

Winner: Velay ( 11-10 )

Match 8: La Solucion vs Sol De Agosto 

The next game was a show of complete dominance by La Solucion’s side against Sol De Agosto. From the beginning of the match, La Solucion switched to their aggressive side, scoring goal after goal and leaving Sol De Agosto far behind. The latter team seemed to find no openings amidst La Solucion’s plays and lost their game by a huge margin of seven points.

Winner: La Solucion ( 14-7 )

Semi-Final 1: Indios Chapaleufu vs La Natividad 

Date: 16 April 

On the day of the first semi-finals, Indios Chapaleufu faced La Natividad for a chance to qualify for the finals. It was a close game, and it was looking as if both teams reciprocated each other’s scores by the end of each round. Eventually, the game ended up being a draw (7 points each). The game went into overtime, and fortune favoured the side of Indios Chapaleufu, who scored the golden goal, which took them into the finals. 

Winner: Indios Chapaleufu ( 8-7 )

Semi-Final 2: La Solucion vs Velay 

Date: 17 April 

The second semi-final was held the next day between La Solucion and Velay. This one was a goal fest, with 27 goals scored, giving the audience a lot to cheer for. La Solución had a huge part in the 27 goals scored in the match and helped win the game, announcing their dominant arrival in the finals.

Winner: La Solucion ( 16-11 )

Final: La Solucion vs Indios Chapaleufu 

Date: 19 April 

The time for one of the teams, La Solucion and Indios Chapaleufu, had arrived to lift the much-desired Cup of the Abierto De Pilar Chico. Indios Chapaleufu did not have an ideal start and lost too many points at the beginning of the game. But they were able to bounce back, diminishing the lead to only one point by the end of the fourth round. La Solución picked up pace and denied the opposition from scoring, taking control of the game. By the end of the last round, La Solucion were two points ahead and engraved their names as this year’s winners of the Abierto De Pilar Chico.

Winner: La Solucion ( 11-9 )
