The Aditya Birla Memorial Cup (10 goals) began on 9th January, 2023 and ended on 14th January, 2023. The winning cup had the eyes of 5 stunning teams set on it. The competition and passion in the air gave the season a strong start.

Dynamix Achievers vs Carysil Polo

The first match occurred between teams Dynamix Achievers (consisting of players Mr Mukesh Gurjar, MMrRahul Dwarkadas, MrMrhris Mackenzie, and Mr.Mred Shamsheer Ali) and Carysil Polo (consisting of players Niklendher Singh, Mr. Mram Mehta, H.H. Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur, and Mr. MMrel Fernandes Llorente). The former donned the colour white while the latter donned red/white. 

The first chukker of the match was dominated by the Achievers as they scored 5 stunning goals while the opponent scored none. Carysil Polo took the lead in the second chukker with 2 goals in their basket while the Achievers scored none. The match got  intense by the third chukker and both teams scored 2 goals each. The match slowed down by the final chukker and while Carysil Polo managed to secure 1 final goal, the scoreboard read 7-5, in favour of the Dynamix Achievers. 

Madon Polo vs Navy/Ben Stallions: 

The second match of the day occurred between teams Madon Polo (consisting of players Mr Dinyar Madon, Mr Salim Azmi, Mr Dhruvpal Godara, and Mr.Simran Shergill) and Navy/Ben Stallions (consisting of players Mr. Ravinder Mang, Mr. Sunny Patel, Mr. Abhimanyu Pathak, and Capt A P Singh). 

The match kicked off with energy and enthusiasm as both teams scored 2 goals each in the first chukker. Maintaining the competitive spirit, Madon Polo scored 2 goals again in the second chukker while the opponents scored 1. Madon Polo continued to dominate the third chukker with 2 more goals while the Stallions scored none. By the end of the final chukker the match slowed down as both teams scored zero goals. The final score read 6-3.5, in favour of Madon Polo. 

10 January 2023 

Match 1:

The day began with a match between teams Carysil Polo (consisting of players Niklendher Singh, Mr. Shyam Mehta, H.H. Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur, and Mr Manuel Fernandes Llorente) and Madon Polo (consisting of players Mr Dinyar Madon Mr Salim Azmi, Mr. Dhruvpal Godara, and Mr. Simran Shergill. 

Carysil Polo scored 3 ground-breaking goals in the first chukker while Madon Polo scored 2. The second chukker saw 1 goal each from both teams and the third chukker was dominated by Madon Polo with 2 goals as opposed to Carysil Polo’s 1. Carysil Polo took the lead in the last chukker and scored 2 fantastic goals while the opponent scored none. The final score was 7-5, in favour of Carysil Polo. 

Match 2: 

The second match of the day took place between teams Mayfair Polo (consisting of players Mr. Mitish Mehta, Mr Jayvirsinh Gohil, Mr. Siddhant Sharma Mr Daniel Otamendi) and Dynamix Achievers (consisting of players Mr. Mukesh Gurjar, Mr. Rahul Dwarkadas, Mr Chris Mackenzie, and Syed Shamsheer Ali). 

Both teams kick-started the match with intense energy. The first chukker saw the Achievers take the lead with 3 goals while Mayfair was shorthanded. The second chukker saw Mayfair gain the upper hand with 3 goals while the opposing team scored 2. Mayfair continued to maintain the lead in the third chukker with 2 goals while Achievers scored 1. Both teams scored 2 goals each in the final chukker. The finals core was 7-8, in favour of the Dynamix Achievers. 

11 January 2023

The match was between the teams Mayfair Polo (consisting of players Mr Mitesh Mehta, MrJayvirsinh Gohil, Mr Siddhant Sharma and Mr. Daniel Otamendi) and Navy/Ben Stallions (consisting of players Mr. Ravinder Mang, Mr. Sunny Patel, Mr. Abhimanyu Pathak, and Capt A P Singh). 

The match started off slow with 1 goal scored by Mayfair and none by the opposing team. The match picked up pace in the second chukker with 1 goal scored by each team. Mayfair dominated the third chukker with 2 impressive goals in their basket while the Stallions scored zero. Both teams scored 1 goal each in the fourth chukker. The final score was 5-2.5, in favour of Mayfair Polo. 


14 January 2023 

The final  match kicked off between teams Dynamix Achievers (consisting of players Mr. Mukesh Gurjar, Mr. Rahul Dwarkadas, Mr. Chris Mackenzie, and Mr. Syed Shamsheer Ali) and Madon Polo (consisting of players Mr. Dinyar Madon, Mr. Salim Azmi, Mr. Dhruvpal Godara, and Mr. Simran Shergill). The former donned white while the latter donned black and grey. 

The first chukker started off intense with 3 strong goals by the Achievers and 1 goal by Madon Polo. The Achievers maintained the lead in the second chukker with 4 goals and Madon Polo scored 1. Both teams scored 2 goals each in the third chukker and Madon Polo dominated the final chukker with 3 goals. The final score 7-9, a clear win for the Dynamix Achievers. 


13 January 2023 (Penalties) 

The penalty shootout took place Madon Polo (consisting of players Mr. Dinyar Madon, Mr. Salim Azmi, Mr. Dhruvpal Godara, and Mr. Simran Shergill), Carysil Polo (consisting of players Niklendher Singh, Mr. Shyam Mehta, H.H. Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur, and Mr. Manuel Fernandes Llorente) and Mayfair Polo (consisting of players Mr. Mitesh Mehta, Mr. Jayvirsinh Gohil, Mr. Siddhant Sharma and Mr. Daniel Otamendi). 

Mayfair Polo scored 3 penalties, Carysil scored 2 penalties, and Madon Polo scored 5 winning penalties and emerged triumphant.
