The match between The Red Elves Polo Team (Tariq Al Habtoor 0, Raja Abuljebain 0, Alejandro Gowland 3, Daniel Gariador 2) and The Green Elves Polo Team ( Mohammed Al Habtoor 0, Habtoor Al Habtoor 0, Santiago Gomez Romero 3, Justo Cuitino 3) on Friday, the 23rd of December brought tons of glee to The Regis Brunch.
The VIP guest and the renowned American rapper Flo Rida commenced the game by doing the first throw-in.
The scoreboard was opened by The Green Elves who continued to take the lead throughout the game resulting in 5-1 at halftime. By the 5th chukker the score went up to 7-1 with a clear victory of the Green Elves over the Red Elves
The world-famous footballer and now manager of the Real Madrid Football team, Zenadine Zidane along with Flo Rida led the trophy ceremony.
Mohammed Al Habtoor the Chairman of the Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club exclaimed, “It is fun to put on a ‘Christmas’ show, the costumes were a fun idea, but not a practical one, they were too hot! It was a pleasure having my friend Flo Rida visit us once more and also a great pleasure and honour to see Zenadine Zidane at our Polo club.”
