Army Cdr’s Polo Championship, 2022 (8 Goals)

Day 1 : 14th September, 2022

The Krishna Polo Team took on the Sahara Warriors in the season’s first match. Mr. Manvendra, Navin Singh, Daniel Otamendi, and Ashvini Sharma led the Krishna Polo Team against Sangram Singh, Dino Dhankar, Chris Mackenzie, and Shamsheer Ali. Both teams began on the same footing, with the Sahara Warriors taking the lead in the third and fourth chukker, surpassing the Krishna Polo Team by a score of 11 goals to 5.

The day’s second match was held between Carysil Chandna and V Polo Team, with Zeeshan Merchant, Ashok Chandna, Kuldeep Singh, and Monolo Fernandez, supporting the former. Team Carysil Chandna won the match by one score, in a tight race against Monique Van Haarst, Gaurav Sehgal, Gonzalo Yanzon, and Dhruv Pal Godara. The final score of the match was 8-7.

 

Day 2 : 15th September, 2022

The second day pitted 61 Calvary against V Polo Team. HH Sawai Padmanabh Singh, Jayvirsinh Gohil, and Maj MS Chouhan and Maj Aman Singh supported the 61 Cavalry, who competed against members of the V Polo Team: Monique Van Haarst/ Savir Godara, Gaurav Sehgal, Gonzalo Yanzon, and Dhruv Pal Godara. The V Polo Team took the victory with a 6-point lead, winning with a score of 10 goals against 4.

 

Day  3 : 16th September, 2022

The palpitation heightened in anticipation of a match between the Sahara Warriors and the Krishna Polo Team. Shubham Gupta, Dino Dhankar, Chris Mackenzie, and Shamsheer Ali represented the Sahara Warriors against Rajiv Reddy, Navin Singh, Daniel Otamendi, and Ashvini Sharma. The Sahara Warriors dominated all of the chukkers, winning with a score of 10 to 3.5 goals.

The semi-final was played between Carysil Chandna players, Zeeshan Merchant, Ashok Chandna, Kuldeep Singh, and Manalo Fernandez, against 61 Cavalry team members, HH Sawai Padmanabh Singh, Jayvirsinh Gohil, Maj MS Chouchan and Maj Aman Singh. Both teams displayed massive accomplishments on the fields, fighting a close battle until the Carysil Chandna took the lead, winning the round with the score of  8 against 3.

 

Day 4 : 18th September, 2022

The final battle was fought between teams Sahara Warriors (consisting of Players, Zeeshan Merchant, Ashok Chandna, Kuldeep Singh, and Manalo Fernandez) versus the Carysil Chandna (with Shubham Gupta, Dino Dhankar, and Chris Mackenzie. Chandna Carysil). The former lifted the finals trophy, scoring 7 goals against 6 of Carysil Chandna.
