Balsamand Defeats Mayo In A Close Match At The Jodhpur Cup-arena Polo!

The first match of the second tournament of the Jodhpur Polo Season 2019 witnessed a close encounter between Balsamand and Mayo. The players were introduced as the Balsamand in white were ready to take Mayo in yellow with Mr. Jaiveer Sinh Gohil as the umpire. Kr. Dhananjay Singh Rathore was the referee and Apji Vijai Singh was the commentator for the match.

The match started with a +1 handicap lead for Balsamand. Bh. Nikhlendra Singh started the game in high spirits scoring four goals in the first chukker for his team Balsamand as his elder brothe r Bh. Hemendra Singh scored one goal for Mayo. The first chukker scores stood at:

Mr. Pep Singh striked through the third chukker by scoring a hat-trick for Team Mayo with Hemendra Singh scoring one goal to bring the Mayo in lead. Nikhlendra Singh was able to add only one more for Balsamand losing the match by mere one goal. The score at the end of the third chukker was:

The second match of the day at the second tournament of the Jodhpur Polo Season 2019 was played between Mehrangarh and Gohilwad. The players were introduced by Apji Vijai Singh, the commentator for the match as Team Mehrangarh was ready to take Team Gohilwad. Bh. Hemendra Singh was the umpire and Kr. Janmejai Singh was the man in form as he scored five goals in the third and final chukker to increase the lead for Mehrangarh to 14 goals. Mr. Jaiveer Singh gave a relentless performance scoring a hat-trick for Gohilwad. Mehrangarh won the match by 14 goals to 8.5. The score at the end of the third chukker was:
