Battistoni Win the Italian Coppa Duca D’Aosta 2025

One of the two captivating tournaments held in Italy, the Coppa Duca D'Aosta, was a 10-goal tournament that brought joy to people not only present in the region but also all over the globe.

A total of ten teams were eligible to participate in this exclusive tournament, featuring twenty-three high-octane matches that shook the entire Roma Polo Club. Let us revisit a few of these incredible games that left the audience and spectators on the edge of their seats.

Semi-Final 1: La Bien Mirada vs Eleven Eleven 

Date: 26 June 

The first semi-final was played between La Bien Mirada and Eleven Eleven. As soon as the match began, La Bien Mirada scored four goals in the first round to gain a comfortable lead of three points. But Eleven Eleven were able to pull themselves back into the game, levelling the score by the end of the first half. In the next couple of rounds, La Bien Mirada controlled the game beautifully to win by just a single point.

Winners: La Bien Mirada ( 9-8 )

Semi-Final 2: Battistoni vs Impresion 

The second semi-final game was a contest between Battistoni and Impresion, where the latter team started with a points advantage. Battistoni almost took the game away, scoring eight goals by the third round. However, Impresion bounced back into the game, but they could only manage to save themselves from a devastating defeat by only 0.5 points. 

Winners: Battistoni ( 9-8.5 )

3rd and 4th Place: Kings Polo vs El Rosario 

Date: 29 June

The last game of the tournament, held to determine the 3rd and 4th places, was played between the teams of Kings Polo and El Rosario. Being in control for the entire game, Kings Polo pressed hard on El Rosario, not letting them score too many goals. King’s Polo was not too comfortable, but they managed to keep their opponents at arm’s length. Eventually, when time ran out, Kings Polo was able to end their campaign on a high, winning third place in this year’s Coppa Duca D’Aosta.

Winners: Kings Polo ( 8-7 )

Final: Battistoni vs La Bien Mirada 

Date: 28 June

The final of the tournament exhibited two of the most fascinating teams: Battistoni and La Bien Mirada. Battistoni was able to get ahead in competition for a couple of rounds, but La Bien Mirada was not ready to give up too soon! They scored two mesmerising goals in the fourth round to equalise the scoreboard, pushing the game into overtime. In overtime, Battistoni not only claimed the golden goal for themselves but also the highly anticipated trophy of the Coppa Duca D’Aosta.

Winners: Battistoni ( 8-7 )
