Cavalry Red Win Army Polo Championship with 10 Goals to 3

The tournament featured six teams and an equal number of league matches aimed at discovering emerging talent. Each match showed how players are evolving in skill and flair.

Match 1: Artillery vs RVC

Date: 10 March 

The first game of the Army Polo Championship was between Artillery and RVC, and RVC started with a points advantage. Despite being disadvantaged, Team Artillery knew precisely when to score goals and used every opportunity to stay ahead, winning their first game by 1.5 points.

Winner: Artillery ( 6-4.5 )

Match 2: Cavalry Red vs Infantry- Navy

Date: 11 March 

The second game was held the next day between Cavalry Red and Infantry-Navy. The former team’s supremacy was evident as they took over the game and won it by half a dozen points. 

Winner: Cavalry Red ( 11-5 )

Match 3: Cavalry Red vs Cavalry Green 

Date: 13 March 

Cavalry Red took on the field to prove their dominance in this game against Cavalry Green. From the beginning of the match, Cavalry Red started to score multiple goals to put the opposition under a lot of pressure. Due to this, Cavalry Green’s team collapsed completely, losing by a huge margin of 11 points. 

Winner: Cavalry Red (12-1)

Match 4: Artillery vs Army Service Corps 

It was time for Artillery to face the Army Service Corps, and they started with a points advantage. The Army Service Corps put up a great fight, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to surpass Artillery, which registered 7.5 points on their side of the scoreboard. 

Winner: Artillery ( 7.5-6 )

Match 5: Infantry-Navy vs Cavalry Green 

Date: 17 March 

Infantry-Navy faced off against Cavalry Green in this game. Both teams started off on equal footing, but the Infantry-Navy team soon took off and started scoring multiple goals to stay ahead in the race and qualify for the semi-finals. 

Winner: Infantry-Navy (7-3)

Match 4: Army Service Corps vs RVC 

It was time for the day’s second game between the Army Service Corps and RVC. The former team performed outstandingly, scoring goals at the most crucial points to win. 

Winner: Army Service Corps ( 9-5 )

Semi-Final 1: Cavalry Red vs Army Service Corps 

Date: 18 March 

The first semi-final saw Cavalry Red take on the Army Service Corps. Cavalry Red maintained consistent pressure throughout the match, starting with a points advantage. With a series of well-timed goals, they left no room for a comeback, securing a dominant win and a spot in the finals.

Winner: Cavalry Red ( 8.5-2 )

Semi-Final 2: Artillery vs Infantry-Navy

Date: 19 March 

The second semi-final game was a battle of wits and patience for both teams. The Artillery team won the game with a lead score of just 0.5 points, as they proved to be a little better at absorbing pressure. 

Winner: Artillery ( 4-3.5 )

Final: Cavalry Red vs Artillery 

Date: 22 March 

The finale was a one-sided display of power by Cavalry Red against the Artillery team. Cavalry Red once again put on a show for their supporters, going all out and scoring 10 goals to win the Army Polo Championship in style.
