Valiente vs Mt. Brilliant
A great game was expected from Mt. Brilliant as they came out to be the runners up at the Joe Barry Memorial but this time they had to face Valiente specifically their 10-goaler Adolfo Cambiaso who made his debut in 2017.
Few fouls were done by both the teams which gave them the chance to goal by penalties. Unfortunately. Mt. Brilliant’s Jason Crowder could not convert his opportunity into a goal. Cambiaso too missed both his chances but a tap- in goal by Victorino Ruiz Jorba gave Valiente an early lead.
Cambiaso proved himself yet again by scoring 5 goals against Mt.Brilliant and led the game by 6-1 until the halftime. It was high time for Mt.Brilliant to come back in the game but Valiente did not let them in the fourth and fifth chukker. An early goal in the fifth chukker by Valiente gave them a further headstart after which Mt. Brilliant could only take two shots in fourth and fifth chukker.
Cambiaso made the maximum goals with six goals, despite only shooting 3 of 7 from the penalty line and adding five throw-in wins to help his team maintain possession. Jorba made three goals while Felipe Viana added one in the fourth chukker for a dominant team performance from Valiente.
