This match left all the viewers astonished as Coca Cola won the the first Ylvisaker semi-finals with a score of 11-10. This left the tournament favourite Orchard Hill defeated. Coca-Cola showed their high spirit right from the beginning of the match and took a lead in the first chukker with the score of 3-2. This could not have been possible without the contribution of Julio Arellano who scored all the three goals.Orchard Hill also played well but they did not show the level of dominance that they showed in their previous matches. Due to which, Coca Cola was leading with a score of 8-5 till the first half.
During the second half, Orchard Hill could make no benefits out of the penalties but Facundo Pieres converted two of his penalties and a field goal was shot by Arellano. This further widened the gap with a score of 9-6 moving into the fifth chukker. Del Walton was substituted by USPA team member Wes Finlayson, when asked about this sudden change Julio Arellano said, “You hope for the best, you don’t know how he’s going to fit into the team with the horses and everything and I have to be honest, he’s definitely beyond my expectations. Fabulous, he’s been a pleasure to have on board.”
The last chukker saw a sudden change when Orchard Hill came back in the game and performed outstandingly. Pieres scored one penalty goal and brought the score to 10-7, this lead to another goal by Arellano. Pieres horse was severely injured in the last two minute and he was substituted by Polito Pieres who scored 2 goals as he entered the field. Nico Escobar scored the last goal for Orchard Hill and brought the closing score to 11-10 with Coca Cola taking the first place in Ylvisaker Finals. It was a little late for the the most liked team of the tournament to perform in the match. Their valiant effort was cut short as the thirty second horn sounded to end regulation play.
