Coupe D’Aumale Sets The Stage For Polo in France

The magic of polo swept through France at the Chantilly Polo Club, with a series of thrilling matches culminating in the prestigious Coupe d’Aumale.

Four six-goal teams were ready to battle it out against one another for the prestigious title of Coupe D’Aumale. The tournament spanned nine days, offering rejuvenating experiences for all the attendees. Here’s a recap.

Qualifier: Aumale/Los Siete vs Las Floreales

Date: 20 April 

Aumale/Los Siete and Las Floreales went head-to-head in a fascinating battle for the finals. The latter team started with a points advantage and was looking to be defensive to keep the lead. However, this plan seemed to weaken after the first round when Aumale/Los Siete broke free and started scoring goals to take the lead, scoring half a dozen goals.

Winner: Aumale/Los Siete ( 6-4.5 )

Qualifier: Aumale/Los Siete vs Eukaryote Ivestments 

Date: 26 April 

The next game took place after a five-day break and featured Aumale/Los Siete, this time facing Eukaryote Ivestments. The match remained closely contested until the third round, with Los Siete holding a narrow one-point lead heading into the fourth chukker. In the final chukker, Aumale/Los Siete unleashed a dominant performance, scoring four goals and leaving their opponents behind to secure a spot in the finals.

Winner: Aumale/Los Siete ( 9-5 )

Qualifier: Twist vs Las Floreales 

Date: 26 April 

The last qualifier game was one of the most intense games, featuring the team of Twist against Las Floreales. Las Floreales started with a point advantage, but it didn’t matter much as Twist pushed forward from the first round and scored five goals by the end of the second to take the lead. Eventually, Las Floreales tried fighting back hard, but fortune didn’t side with them, and the match was won by Twist. 

Winner: Twist ( 6-5.5 )

3rd & 4th Place: Eukaryote Ivestments vs Las Floreales 

Date: 27 April 

It was time to decide the third and fourth place holders of the Coupe D’Aumale. The match was contested between Eukaryote Ivestments and Las Floreales and was as close as it could get. Las Floreales started with a points advantage, which helped in keeping their heads above water. Eukaryote Ivestments tried their best, but due to the sloppy plays made in the third round, they lost the game by just 0.5 points. 

Winner: Las Floreales ( 5.5-5 )

Final: Aumale/Los Siete vs Twist 

Date: 27 April 

The day of the finals for Coupe D’Aumale had arrived, presenting us with two of the most consistent teams: Aumale/Los Siete and Twist. The game was hard-fought, with neither team wanting to concede any extra goals. Eventually, the game ended in a draw after four rounds. The game went into overtime, where the golden goal was stolen by Aumale/Los Siete, making them the champions of the 2025 version of the Coupe D’Aumale.

Winners: Aumale/Los Siete ( 6-5 )
