Qualifiers: Tancredi Minerals vs La Hechicera

Date: 21 May

Another thrilling encounter in the qualifier rounds was between Tancredi Minerals and La Hechicera. The former team started with a points advantage, which became the game’s deciding factor. Both teams were evenly matched in vigour and ended up on the same points on the scoreboard by the end of the last round. However, the point advantage gave victory to the side of Tancredi Minerals by the slimmest of margins possible.

Winner: Tancredi Minerals ( 6.5-6 )

Semi-Final 1: Amanara vs Tancredi Minerals

Date: 24 May

The first semi-final game was an incredible game between Amanara and Tancredi Minerals. Tancredi Minerals had a points advantage at the start of the game. Despite being put on the back foot, Amanara held their nerves at the most crucial times of the game, scoring just one extra goal, which kept them 0.5 points ahead when the final bell rang.

Winner: Amanara ( 6-5.5 )

Semi-Final 2: La Hechicera vs G Squared

A game decided the second finalist between La Hechicera and G Squared. Unlike the first one, this game got pretty one-sided towards the end. Subsidiary Final (Paul Withers Memorial Trophy): Cowdray Vikings vs Sumaya

Date: 24 May

The last game for the day was held as a subsidiary final between Cowdray Vikings and Sumaya for the Paul Withers Memorial Trophy. Both teams had a slow start to the game, as neither wanted to concede any extra goals. The game plan was pretty simple for Cowdray Vikings; the team just wanted to diminish Sumaya’s lead, which they had due to the points advantage. Ultimately, they successfully executed their plans and controlled the ball beautifully towards the end to come out on top and win the Paul Withers Memorial Trophy.

Winner: Cowdray Vikings ( 5-4.5 )

Final: La Hechicera vs Amanara
