This year’s Habanos Cavalry Gold Cup featured six teams and nine matches. This week-long event had a lot in store for players and spectators, who assembled together for a rejuvenating Polo experience. The summation of all these matches, teams, and results is listed below.

Match 1: Jindal Panther vs Army-Navy
Date: 4 NovemberÂ
The bell rang, and off went the teams of Jindal Panther and Army-Navy to face one another in the first game of the Habanos Cavalry Gold Cup. The latter team had a head start by 1.5 points. However, Jindal Panther quickly overcame the point difference and never looked back while smashing consecutive goals, announcing their arrival at the tournament.

Match 2: Achievers vs Delta PoloÂ
Date: 5 NovemberÂ
The second game was between Achievers and Delta Polo. Equally matched, both teams had an all-out battle in which Achieves delivered some extra blows to Delta Polo, which ultimately helped them win the game.
Winner: Achievers (8-6)
Match 3: Achievers vs Jaipur USPAÂ
Date: 6 NovemberÂ
The next up-and-coming battle was the much-awaited clash between Achievers and Jaipur USPA. Both teams were backed by their supporters, and in response, both took a defensive approach, resulting in a low-scoring yet intensifying game. In the end, Achievers took the win and made their supporters rejoice.

Match 4: Jindal Panther vs Vimal Arion AchieversÂ
The next game was between Jindal Panther and Vimal Arion Achievers. This match was the closest, in which Jindal Panther turned the odds at the very last moment! Vimal Arion Achievers were in the lead until the last chukker; however, Jindal Panther not only coped with the lead but also scored an extra goal to pull off a spectacular win.

Match 5: Delta Polo vs Jaipur USPAÂ
Date: 7 NovemberÂ
The last day of league matches commenced with a close contest between Delta Polo and Jaipur USPA. Delta Polo had a rough run in the tournament, but this was their chance to qualify for the semis. The teams of Jaipur USPA were eyeing the same spot as well, and despite their valiant efforts, they fell short of a point, and Delta Polo was able to have the last laugh in the game.Â
Winner: Delta Polo (10-9)
Match 6: Vimal Arion Achievers vs Army-NavyÂ
The next game showcased the match between Vimal Arion Achievers and Army-Navy. The former team were in top form in this game and could control the game’s flow despite the disadvantageous situation at the start. They coped with the gap and scored eight goals for a comfortable win.Â
Winner: Vimal Arion Achievers (8-5.5)
Semi-Final 1: Achievers vs Vimal Arion AchieversÂ
Date: 8 NovemberÂ
After much toil, it was time for the semis. First up were the Achievers, facing Vimal Arion Achievers for a spot in the finals of the auspicious Habanos Cavalry Gold Cup. Neither team made it easy to score a goal for the other team by being extremely defensive, resulting in a low-scoring game. The Achievers, however, held their nerves together and scored an extra goal to help them qualify for the finals.Â

Semi-Final 2: Jindal Panther vs Delta PoloÂ
The second semi-final game was between Jindal Panther and Delta Polo. This nail-biting game was even better than the previous semi-final game regarding total goals scored. Delta Polo tried hard to turn things around but choked towards the end, and Jindal Panther was able to capitalise on every small mistake, which helped them proceed forward in the competition overall.
Winner: Jindal Panther (8-7)
Final: Achievers vs Jindal PantherÂ
Date: 10 NovemberÂ
The coveted tournament final was played between Achievers and Jindal Panther. It was a close call, and both teams didn’t want to throw away any extra goals, being overly aggressive. In the end, Achievers took it upon themselves to break the shackles and chipped in a couple of goals that came in handy in winning the prestigious Habanos Cavalry Gold Cup.
