The event was filled with some of the most exciting and stunning games that could make a professional’s blood quench for action. With a handful of six teams, the event began on March 3rd and lasted almost a week until unveiling its much-anticipated finals. Here are the highlights from last week.

Match 1: Cavalry Stallions vs Risala
Date: 3 March
The stage was set for young talents to showcase their skills. Cavalry Stallions and Risala were the first teams to utilise this stage and beautifully executed their plans on the field, enjoying the polo game. However, the game demanded a winner, and Cavalry Stallions took home the game with them by a slight one-point lead.
Winners: Cavalry Stallions ( 5-4 )
The second game on the first day was between Salvo and Lancers. It was another nail-biting competition, as Lancers resisted Salvo’s team’s attempts to secure an easy win. Despite the hurdles, Salvo still managed to stay one point ahead when the final bell of the game rang.
Winners: Salvo ( 4-3 )
Match 3: Fighters vs Salvo
Date: 4 March
The third game was a fight between the Fighters and Salvo. Initially, Salvo was ahead due to a points advantage. The game was completely one-sided, as the Fighters looked to make their mark in the tournament. They dominated the entire course of the game and ended almost four points ahead of the opposite side.
Winners: Fighters ( 6-2.5 )
Match 4: Cavalry Stallions vs Ultimate
The second game of the day was a nail-biter between the Cavalry Stallions and Ultimate teams. This game was fiercely contested, and both teams could have walked away with the win. However, the Cavalry Stallions looked in sublime touch towards the end of the game and could stay one point ahead by the end of the last round.
Winners: Cavalry Stallions ( 5-4 )

The next day brought two fresh teams on the ground: Fighters and Lancers. Lancers started with a points advantage ahead of the game. The disadvantageous situation didn’t even cause a flinch in the Fighters, and they scored the highest points by a single team in the tournament. Despite meticulous efforts, Lancers could only watch themselves losing the game from the sidelines.
Winners: Fighters ( 9-1.5 )
Match 6: Risala vs Ultimate
The final league game showcased Risala’s potential against Ultimate’s team. After the first few rounds, the game merely looked like a formality, as Risala had already accumulated enough goals to keep Ultimate at bay and sign off the league stages on a positive note.
Winners: Risala ( 6-2 )
Semi-Final 1: Cavalry Stallions vs Salvo
Date: 7 March
Playtime was over, and it was time for the knockout stages to commence as Cavalry Stallions pulled up their socks to face the formidable side of Salvo. The game was quite low-scoring but filled with many intense situations, which Stallions particularly won on the field, who beautifully controlled all the game phases to end with a two-point lead by the end of the last chukker.
Winners: Cavalry Stallions ( 5-3 )
Semi-Final 2: Fighters vs Risala
The second finalist was the outcome of the matchup between Fighters and Risala, in which Risala started with a points advantage. Unfortunately, the small lead given to them was not enough as Fighters came back strongly into the game to score more than half a dozen goals, announcing their arrival into the finals in quite the fashion.
Winners: Fighters ( 7-3.5 )
Final: Fighters vs Cavalry Stallions
Date: 8 March
It was finally time for Fighters to face the mighty Cavalry Stallions in the APRC Cup’s final game, which took low-goal tournaments to newer standards. Cavalry Stallions had a points advantage before the game. With the help of this upper hand, Cavalry Stallions was able to establish an early lead. Still, Fighters fought hard to make a comeback and raised the heartbeats of their supporters, giving them a highly dramatic finish. In the end, Fighters clinched the APRC Cup title.
