The last 18-goal tournament of the Dubai Gold Cup series
2018, saw two action packed matches at the Al Habtoor Polo
Resort & Club.
Zedan took on Wolves in the first match while Bin Drai took on
Habtoor Polo in the second match.
Zedan got off to a good start as they were leading by 9 goals to
3 at halftime. Wolves defended well in the last two chukkers and
scored thrice to reduce the deficit but it was too little too late
and Zedan won the match by 10 goals to 6. Pablo Mac
Donough was the top scorer of the match with 5 goals.
Bin Drai took on Habtoor Polo in the second match.
Bin Drai took the lead in the first chukker and maintained it as
they were leading 7-5 at half time. The fourth chukker saw them
score 3 more goals to make it 10-6 and they finally won the
match by the end of the fifth by 11 goals to 9. Raul Laplacette
(Bin Drai) and Francisco Elizalde (Habtoor) were the top
scorers of the match with 7 goals each.
