Eleven Eleven Win The Open De Gassin With A Score of 8-7.5

Semi-Final 1: Eleven Eleven vs VT/ Riva

Date: 11 July 

Eleven Eleven had a dream start and was able to take a massive lead of 3.5 points by the end of the third round (7-3.5). VT/Riva struck back with three of their own goals in the last round, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to take them over the line. 

Winner: Eleven Eleven ( 7-6.5 )

Semi-Final 2: Battistoni vs La Bien Mirada 

The second semi-final game was a contest between Battistoni and La Bien Mirada. This one was an incredibly close game, which kept everyone engaged until the very end. La Bien Mirada scored three goals in the third round to take over the lead and were the favourites, but Battistoni had other plans. They scored two goals and secured their spot in the finals of this year’s Open De Gassin.

Winner: Battistoni ( 5.5-5 )

Subsidiary Final 1: La Bien Mirada vs Savoir 

Date: 13 July 

Before the highly anticipated Open De Gassin final, two subsidiary finals set the stage. The first, between La Bien Mirada and Savoir, was a low-scoring thriller where both sides had a shot at victory. Savoir edged ahead with two goals in the second round and held the lead through the third. But in a dramatic final chukker, La Bien Mirada staged a comeback with two decisive goals to clinch the win against the odds.

Winner: La Bien Mirada ( 3-2 )

Subsidiary Final 2: VT/Riva vs F Polo Team 

The second subsidiary final, unlike the first, was comparatively a high-scoring game between VT/Riva and the F Polo Team. VT/Riva started with a points advantage, but the game was neck and neck in all rounds. By the end of the first half, VT/Riva was just marginally ahead by 0.5 points, which F Polo overtook in the next round. All stakes were high in the last round, but it was VT/Riva who claimed the second subsidiary final.

Final: Eleven Eleven vs Battistoni 

Date: 13 July 

One of the season’s most electrifying finals played out at the 2025 Open De Gassin, as Eleven Eleven faced off against Battistoni, who entered with a points advantage. Battistoni took the early lead, but Eleven Eleven surged ahead with a dominant performance, ending the third round at 6–3.5. Battistoni launched a spirited comeback with four stunning goals, but time ran out. Eleven Eleven held firm to clinch the title and hoist the 2025 Open De Gassin Cup.
