A strikingly brave battle was played out on the fields between the King’s Team and the Maharaj’s Team. Each played their cards brilliantly yet the real game shaped out by the end of the 4th chukker where the King’s Team scored 9 goals taking the victory against the 4 goals of the Maharaj’s Team.
December 12, 2021 Maj. Th. Sardar Singh Ji Jasol Memorial Cup Exhibition Match
 
  
A match of unforgiving goals and defenses was played between the teams Malani and Jasol. Daniel Otamendi and Y. Rajiv Reddy presented good form on the pitch winning 3 goals for Malani against the 2 goals of Jasol keeping the audience on the edge of their seats. This led to the victory of Malani.
December 19, 2021 | 22nd Jodhpur Polo Season | Exhibition Match
  
  
A regal affair for an equally sophisticated crowd, this exhibition match was played between Yuvraj’s Knights and Jodhpur Warriors. A continuous display of lethal attack and defense this match saw some close calls on the scoreboard. In the third and fourth chukker Yuvraj’s Knights took the lead with 3 goals courtesy of Mahakrit Singh Rathore, Dhananjai Singh, Manupal Godara and Daniel Otamendi. Nonetheless the Jodhpur Warriors came in clutch winning a final score of 7 to 4 goals.
  
December 25, 2021 | Bhanwar Baijilal Vaara Rajye Polo Cup | Exhibition Match
An action packed match for a house full audience at the MGSSF Polo Ground of Jodhpur. The mallets of the teams Desert Warriors and Thar Raiders went into action with the throw-in by Baijilal herself.
Both teams showed exceptional prowess through Manupal Godara’s assists, Maj. Mrityunjay’s tackles, Maj. Aman’s passes, Basheer Ali’s power hits, Gerard Mazzini’s long passes, Shamsher Ali’s goals and Daniel Otamendi and Hurr Ali’s defense.
Ending with a tie by the last chukker at 6 goals a victory lap was taken by all players. H.H. Maharaja Gaj Singhji and Bhanwar Baijilal Vaara Rajye awarded the players after the performance of the Mehrangarh Band and the Nine Grenadier Band.
  
December 26, 2021 | Army Commander’s Cup | Exhibition Polo MatchÂ
An enthralling one day exhibition match for the Army Commander’s Cup presented by Army Commander Southern Command was played between the teams of Desert Stallions and the 61st cavalry. The Audience had many decorated officers from the army, one of whom, Lt. Gen. JS Nain, AVSM, SM threw the ball in to start the game.
The match started with 61st Cavalry taking the lead into the game with the score of 4 to 1 goals by the end of 2nd chukker. The combined effort of the team in scoring 4 goals with Maj. Gen. AS Sandhu’s defence and passes, Col. Ravi Rathore VSM, Rtd. scored two goals, Maj. Mrityunjay and Maj. Aman scored a goal each for the team.
In the 3rd chukker Desert Stallions’ Pranav Kapur scored a goal in retaliation for Maj. Mrityunjay Singh’s 2 goals. It was then in the 4th chukker The Desert Stallions started to give an equal fight and scored 3 fantastic goals getting the score difference to just 1 goal.
61st Cavalry seized the day with the score of 6 goals to 5 and lifted the cup with exhilaration. All the players thanked all the chief guests and the audience with the victory lap and were awarded by HH Maharaja Gaj Singh ji and Lt. Gen. JS Nain after the wonderful performance of The Mehrangarh Band, The Mechanised Infantry Regimental Centre Band,
Nine Grenadier for Raj. Rif. Pipe Band and The Nine Grenadier Band. Maharaja Gaj Singh ji and Lt. Gen J S Nain also exchanged gifts.
December 29, 2021 | The Indian Airforce Longewala Polo Cup | Exhibition Polo MatchÂ
A sunny winter afternoon highly decorated Indian Airforce Officers were the audience to the first Indian Airforce Longewala Polo cup presented by AOC-in-C, SWAC,  IAF in the 22nd Jodhpur Polo Season 2021. Before the match started, The paratroopers from the ‘Akash Ganga’ sky diving team of the Indian Airforce  presented an airshow for the audience and landed midflield.
Starting of the match Air Marshal Vikram Singh, VSM AOC-in-C, SWAC, wished the players luck and threw the ball in to start the game. The match was played with 3 players a side, between the teams of the Desert Warriors and Dagger Warriors.
The match started with equal attack and defense from both teams. The Desert Warriors fought back and scored 3 goals bringing the scoreboard to an equal by the final bell. Both teams took the lap of honor thanking the guests and audience.
The match resulted in a tie where both teams were declared joint winners with the score of 5 goals. HH Maharaja Gaj Singh ji presented momentos to the paratroopers and Air Marshal Vikram Singh, VSM AOC-in-C, SWAC present awards to the players and umpires. HH Maharaja Gaj Singh ji and Air Marshal Vikram Singh, VSM AOC-in-C, SWAC also exchanged momentos.
December 30, 2021 | Maharaja of Jodhpur Golden Jubilee Cup | Exhibition Match
The joy of the last day continued into an exhibition match between Mehrangarh and Balsamand. The match remained hypnotizing through the back and forth and glorious horsemanship shown by both sides. In a neck-to-neck contest by the end of the fourth chukker the scoreboard tied with a 6 goal mark for both sides.
Kr. Vikramaditya Singh and Jayvirsinh Gohil’s picture perfect passes and attacks in addition to the wonderful defense of Syed Hurr Ali and Daniel Otamendi’s defense and tackles remained a beautiful sight through and through. To top it off Col. Ravi Rathore VSM and Ashok Chandna’s unmatched goals added a lively element to the match.
The prize distribution was soon followed by a lap of honor by both teams and the winners were awarded by Sonu Jain of Suncity Jewels, Th. Dilip Singh Barkana and Hemendra Beda. There were a few special mentions for the wonderful season:

Daniel Otamendi was awarded Most Valuable Player
Syed Hurr was awarded the Raj Bhanwar Sa trophy for the Most Promising Young Player
