The first semi-finale of the Indri Indian Open Polo Championship was played between Jindal Panther and Sona Polo.
Beautifully taking the course of the game ahead, all the players put forward a tremendous show of action, chase, control, speed, intensity, strategy and power moves. Such was the scenario that the scoreboard read equivalent for most of the parts of the play.
Things started to get real as the game approached its end. High on Polo as we at LA POLO love to say, the players got onto their best ponies and the play galloped in its fastest mode possible. Although, it was clearly team Jindal Polo that out-shined in the last chukkers.
With this, they also seized their position to become the first finalist of the Indri Indian Open Polo Championship with a massive score of 10 goals to 7 of Sona Polo.
Following the spirit of the day, the second semi-finale had Sahara Warriors and Garcha Group against one another.
The match was really a tough combat, so much so that the scoreboard was fixed to one goal each for a long long time in the match.
Having said that, it must not be left unsaid how both the teams presented a great game of defense and control over the ball. Such was the case that it was hard to circle out the ball if once seized by a team. This certainly added to the flavor and depth of the play.
It went to an extent where the match entered the call of an extra chukker and it was time to witness as to which team shall bag the golden goal that would mark as the golden ticket to the finale of the Indri Indian Open Polo Championship.
Breaking the chain of equivalent score of four each was team Sahara Warriors with which they locked their position in the finals with 5 goals to 4 of Garcha Group.
