An ultimate experience accompanied by a unique blend of glamour sports and nature, in front of the magnificent backdrop of the summery Baltic Sea and historical architecture of the place.
The unique-wide beach of Warnemünde has always been a success for the event and Beach Polo is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular of all that Warnemünde has to offer.
Developed into a true audience magnet, the diversity of the numerous sponsors and partners impressively underscore this. The city would also celebrates its 99th birthday at the Ferrari Berlin Beach Polo Master 2017 being held from 23rd to 25th June, 2017.
The beach polo event acquired renown throughout the last years and joined international polo experts such as tournament director Uwe Zimmermann (CH) as well as the international speaker Jan-Erik Franck, known as The Voice of Polo“, and Umpire Mark Holmes (both UK) who is teaching polo at the University of Cambridge and was a polo professional himself for many years.
Zimmermann, who is also the organiser of the big polo venues in Rovinj/Croatia, Ascona and Gut Basthorst, will be playing himself at Warnemünde in a family team together with his sons Philipp and Maxi.
The tournament combines three things: horse breeding, horse sport and horse tourism.
Three days of elegant and adrenalin-fuelled sport, summery beach atmosphere and an international fan crowd watching the games. Warnemünde is very much looking forward to the FERRARI Berlin Beach Polo Masters 2017. The access to the public area is free. Nowhere else in the sport of polo the spectators can get that close to players and horses as in beach polo, hence aiming to give the audience in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern an understanding of this wonderful sport.
