Germany, the place where Polo was played as an Olympic Sport for the last time. Back in 1936, The Olympic Games were held in Berlin where Polo was played as an Olympic discipline for the last time. The first Polo match in Germany took place towards the end of the 19th century in Hamburg. The Polo Club in the Hanseatic City was founded in 1898 and is the oldest club in Continental Europe. Today Polo is played all over Germany.
The German Polo Tour, Germany’s first Polo league, unites various Polo locations to create a wide series of tournaments. The Schedule for the 2019 German Polo Tour has been announced.
