The inaugural event of Gladiator Polo match was successful and there were an unexpected crowd of more than thousand attendees.
This set the bar high of the entire event therefore the organisers have added six more games, contracted with 45 sponsors and created four teams who will competing for the prize money of $250,000.
The CEO of U.S. Polo Assn, Brian Cummings who was the title sponsor of the first season called this sport “hockey on horseback” in the news release also announcing the expanded schedule
The CEO of Wellington Equestrian Partners and also the creator of Gladiator Polo, Mark Bellissimo has first planned to keep only three games and make it simpler but seeing the enthusiasm for the event during the inaugural he added a six- game tournament starting thursday.
