Habtoor Polo went head to head with Bin Drai in the finals of the Dubai Cup 2018 at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club. The Dubai Cup was the final tournament of the Dubai Polo Gold Cup series.
The final match was a thrilling encounter as both teams gave it their all to end the season on a winning note and both teams fought till the very last whistle. Habtoor Polo won the match by 9.5 goals to 7. Bin Drai made a comeback in the final chukker, but it was too late and Habtoor Polo were crowned champions
of the Dubai Cup 2018.
Mohammed Al Habtoor, Patron of Habtoor Polo said: “We are extremely happy to have won the last tournament of the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series. I would like to thank everyone who has participated in it thus far, without you patrons and teams we would have not reached this level of polo in the UAE.”
In the subsidiary final Zedan Wolves defeated A.M Polo by 4.5 goals to 4. These two matches have concluded the Dubai Polo
Gold Cup Series, paving way for the 2018-2019 edition.
