The first day of the 8 Goal IPG Col Girdhari Singh Memorial Cup had four matches scheduled for the day where the first three matches were fixed at the AEC ground, New Delhi, while the fourth match was to be proceeded at Jindal Polo Ground, Noida.

For the second match, team Navy had an advantage of 2 goals. With this, the match began with Angad Kalaan on strike who grabbed the first goal of the match.
