The Greenwich polo club is organizing its 36th season of HIGH-GOAL CLUB on Sunday, June 4th which will be open to all the people.
The match that is going to be featured on Sunday will be United States Polo Association-sanctioned, 20-goal Monty Waterbury Cup. The first challenge of the tournament would be between the Postage Stamp Farm and Work to Ride that will be on field at 15 hours. This match is expected to be an action packed one.
This 36th season of high goal polo this summer at Greenwich Polo Club with feature the three most prestigious cups of USPA polo tournament:
The Monty Waterbury cup
The Silver cup
The East Coast Open
Peter Brant, founder of Greenwich Polo Club said, ‘The East Coast Open was a huge draw last year with record crowds in attendance and we expect the excitement to continue to grow. The Club is also hosting the oldest American polo tournament i.e.the Silver Cup for the very first time and the club is looking forward to make it worth.’
Greenwich Polo Club is also welcoming HUBLOT, the swiss watch brand as the official timekeeper of the event. The most valuable player of the match would be getting a special present from Hublot, making it large for the player. The celebration does not end here, Hublot will also be co-hosting a super VIP event with the world’s oldest jewelry store i.e. the Shreve, Crump and Low, showcasing the finest polo has to offer.
Maria Mendelsohn is the official real estate partner of Greenwich Polo Club and will be awarding Best Playing Pony at the end of each match. Pololine will be producing a special Inside Polo program each week featuring interviews with polo players, game stats and features on polo ponies and teams. US Polo Assn. is the official polo apparel partner of the 36th season.
