High Goal Polo In France in June Enthralls Polo Fans

Polo in France saw some high goal tournaments last week like the Coupe PGH and Tournoi de la Ville de Paris.

Coupe PGH (Fra) (12-goal)

The Chantilly Polo Club hosted this year’s Coupe PGH, a prestigious 12-goal tournament that drew attention from locals and global polo enthusiasts alike. Over the course of 23 intense matches, all eight teams battled rigorously to prove their mettle.

Among them, La Berta Polo Club, Octogone Polo Team, Tedelou, and Animales Polo Team emerged as the standout contenders. With consistent performances and commanding gameplay, these teams dominated the tournament, securing the top positions in style.

Final: La Berta Polo Club vs Octogone Polo Team

The final match saw La Berta Polo Club face off against Octogone Polo Team, with Octogone taking an early lead in the first half. However, La Berta Polo staged a strong comeback in the second half, scoring three unanswered goals and blocking every scoring attempt from their opponents in the fourth chukker. From that point on, the momentum clearly shifted. Despite a spirited push by Octogone in the final round, La Berta Polo Club maintained their dominance and clinched the Coupe PGH title.

Tournoi De La Ville De Paris (FR) (12 Goal)

The Tournoi de la Ville de Paris was a fast-paced 12-goal tournament held over a week. Four teams competed fiercely, facing off in a series of closely contested matches for a shot at the title.

Across seven thrilling games, the competition remained intense, with several nail-biting finishes. In the end, only two teams stood ready for the final showdown: Baron d’Avella and Cria Bucarest.

Final: Baron D’Avella vs. Cria Bucarest

The final game presented us with two magnificent teams: Baron’ D’Avella and Cria Bucarest, where the latter team started with a points advantage. Both teams were quite evenly matched for the contest, as a mere 0.5-point margin decided the game’s outcome. Baron’ D’Avella proved their dominance and consistency, performed well under this high-pressure situation, and won the prestigious Tournoi De La Ville De Paris of 2025.
