As an annual ritual, the Indian Polo Association regularized the handicap of the polo players who participate in India. Tracking the performance of the players, the handicap committee of the Indian Polo Association came out with a new handicap.
The Handicap Committee 2019-2020 had the following members:

As per the latest revised list, a number of young players have gained a good boost. The most promising polo player of the 2019-2020 Indian Polo Season was undoubtedly Padmanabh Singh, who won the major tournaments during the season, inclusive of the Northern India Polo Championship, RMRM Gold Vase, Indian Masters, and much more. The player has now ranked at a handicap of +4 from that of +3. Other than this, young polo players Ranshay Purohit (0), Rehat Virk (+1), Kartikeya Singh (+1), Dhananjay Singh (+2), Anirudh Mawaji (+1), Allan Shaun Michael (-1) and Naveen Singh (+3), all witnessed an increase in their handicap. The army officials were not away from bagging the increase. With a tremendous performance, Sep Ravindra Mang achieved an increase of 0 handicaps from -2. Maj Aman Singh and Maj Anant Rajpurohit too witnessed an increase of +2 and +1 handicap respectively. But a number of players also witnessed a decline in their handicaps. Col Ravi Rathore, who played at +5 handicap, now ranks at +4. Similarly, Dhurvpal Godara, who played at +5, now rests at +4. Pratap Singh Kanota too has now come down to +1.
