The Swiss luxury watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen celebrates the hallmark of persistence, excellence, and uniqueness for the 150 years of its achievements. The anniversary was grandeur at an intimate brunch poised in The Oberoi, New Delhi, India on 16th December 2018 by the IWC and hosted by Mehndi Rajan, brand director for the middle east, India, and Africa. Sandeep Kapoor, managing director of the Kapoor Watch Company also made his contribution to the ceremony hostile. Sonam Kapoor, the famous Bollywood celebrity and the brand ambassador of IWC also attended the event and make relinquished remarks on being a part of the 150 years of IWC and this momentous occasion and also received an exclusive and intimate viewing of the specially created “150-years” jubilee collection.
THE EPOCH-MAKING EVENING CELEBRATING “150 YEARS OF IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN”
To celebrate its hierarchy in exclusive watchmaking continuously for 150 years, marking a milestone in the brand’s history, IWC showcased a spectacular jubilee collection comprising a total of 29- limited edition watches from the Portugieser, Portofino, pilot’s watches and Da Vinci families and a tribute to Pallweber timepieces. The gala event was commemorated by premier guests and elite class. The Oberoi, a posh resort, an iconic luxury hotel with its lush green aura and appurtenances, along with its incompatible rooftop terrace, inaugurated the ceremony with exquisite cocktails and a live saxophone performance that intrigued the guests and their moods. The centerpiece of the event was a gigantic time machine with digital display discs inspired by timepieces such as Pallweber watches.
The IWC brand ambassador and the newly married icon of Bollywood made her presence in the event and said: “ As we near the end of this fantastic year for IWC, it is my pleasure to be a part of the 150th-anniversary celebration in India.
