Jaipur Open for Brig HH Maharaja Sawai Bhawani MVC Cup

Match 1: Jaipur Suján vs Delta Polo/Chandna Polo

Date: 19 February

The display of high-quality polo began with the first game between Jaipur Suján and Delta Polo/Chandna Polo. Jaipur was on point in this game, and their super focus helped them capitalise on every small opportunity to score. Despite several attempts to close the gap, Delta Polo fell behind and lost the game by a comfortable margin of five points.

Match 2: Aravali Polo vs Vimal Arion Achievers 

The second game showcased talents from the Aravali Polo and Vimal Arion Achievers teams. The side of Aravali Polo dominated this game as they scored nine goals, matching Jaipur from the first game. The Achievers showed some resistance but fell a little too short and lost their first game to Aravali Polo. 

Winner: Aravali Polo ( 9-5 )

Exhibition Game (Harvard Business School OPM 54): HBS OPM 54 vs RPC

Date: 20 February 

Amidst the intensity, this match between HBS OPM 54 and RPC was both calming and enthralling. RPC started strong, securing an early lead by a single point. However, by the third chukker, Harvard overtook them. Despite equalizing the score at the start of the final round, RPC struggled to maintain momentum, ultimately conceding the game after allowing their opponents to score two consecutive goals.

Winner: HBS OPM 54 ( 6-5 )

Semi-Final 1: Aravali Polo vs Delta Polo/Chandna Polo 

Date: 21 February 

It was time for the semis, and players had to pick up their forms quickly to avoid being eliminated. Aravali Polo took on Delta Polo in a fight to claim the tickets to the final. Both teams performed well and had a very close finish. But since only one team could advance, Aravali Polo cashed in on that chance, protected their goals phenomenally towards the end, and won the game by being just one point ahead.

Winner: Aravali Polo ( 9-8 )

Semi-Final 2: Vimal Arion Achievers vs Jaipur Suján 

A fierce contest decided the second finalists between Vimal Arion Achievers and Jaipur Suján. The Achievers showcased brilliant teamwork; they could score at every opportunity using this momentum. Jaipur also had their moments in the game, but it wasn’t enough to leave the opposite side behind. Achievers qualified for the finals, scoring eight points, enough to eliminate Jaipur from the race.

Winner: Vimal Arion Achievers ( 8-6 )

Final: Aravali Polo vs Vimal Arion Achievers

Date: 23 February 

Two powerhouses, Aravali Polo and Vimal Arion Achievers, were ready to collide for the MVC Cup. As soon as the game began, Aravali Polo scored four goals and created a huge lead by the end of the first round. However, the Achievers matched the scoring speed in the second chukker and came almost neck and neck with Aravali Polo. Both teams felt the pressure, but Aravali Polo survived this intense pressure and snatched away the game to become the champions of this version of the MVC Cup.
