Jodhpur’s Weather Harmonized With The Semifinals Combat

Thrill and excitement was in the air as it was the Semifinals day at the Rajputana & Central India Cup (10 Goals) Sponsored by Cello World, 20th Jodhpur Polo Season, 2019 with two delectable battles scheduled for feeling the winter breeze with the warmth of the sun stolen from the cloudy sky of the Blue City. The first semifinal was to be played between Jodhpur Central Academy and Sahara Warriors. The players were introduced as Jodhpur- Central Academy in black was ready to take on Sahara Warriors in white. Mr. Nicholas Scortichini and Mr. Abhimanyu Pathak were the umpires and Mr. Emilio Urra Kirby was the referee for the day. Mr. Ankur Mishra and Th. Sidharth Singh Rohet were the commentators for the day.

The first chukker had a fiery start as Dhruvpal Godara commenced his signature attacking game from the early minutes scoring two goals for Jodhpur team. Daniel Otamendi and Kuldeep Singh added one goal each for the Warriors. The first chukker scores were:

Dhruvpal Godara had no stopping in the second chukker as he went on to score two more stunners for his team. Angad Kalaan and R.K. Janmejai Singh defended sophisticatedly but Syed Basheer Ali and Daniel Otamendi broke the wall to score one goal each for the Warriors winding the second chukker scores at:

The third chukker had Sahara Warriors putting on a show of their line of attack as Syed Basheer Ali scored one goal and Daniel Otamendi added two goals. Bh. Hemndra Singh, having a good season so far displayed his potential by scoring a hitting goal for team Jodhpur. The scores at the end of third chukker were:

The fourth and final chukker had cut-throat encounter as Dhruvpal Godara governed for Central Academy to score two goals. At the end, Otamendi’s play outclassed the fighting hard work of Jodhpur Central Academy, as he added two goals to take Warriors ahead on the scoreboard with Kuldeep Singh adding one more goal. Sahara Warriors thus claimed the final spot by overcoming Jodhpur- Central Academy by 10 goals to 7. The final scoreboard was:

SUJAN OVERCOMES POLOFACTORY CHANDNA TO MAKE INTO THE FINALS

The second semifinal of the day was battled between Polofactory Chandna playing in Black & White jerseys and SUJAN playing in Navy blue.

The third chukker had SUJAN leading the game. The young rising star Nikhlendra Singh showed his budding future by scoring two goals taking the ball swiftly and flawlessly across the field with Simran Singh Shergill displayed his class and scored the third for SUJAN as the scorecard stood at:

As the scoreboard had an one sided match, Polofactory Chandna showed fight and scored three goals in the fourth and final chukker, Lokendra Singh, Siddhant Sharma and Gerardo Mazzini scoring one goal each. Dhananjay Singh added the last one for SUJAN as the team surmounted Polofactory Chandna by 8 goals to 4 to face Sahara Warriors in the finals. The final scores had:
