La Solucion Lift The VI La Aguada Cowdray Park Polo Trophy.

Seated in their seats is a crowd ready for some intense action. The blank expressions on their faces are soon going to turn into mixed expressions. Players are gearing up and the horses have arrived in the field. Before a profound fight between the two teams, the players greet each other with smiles and laughs. Trying to know about each other’s weak points, the coaches are having a tough talk with the captains. Players have geared up and are on their horses to play for the glory. Umpires are up on their horses and are ready to officiate the match. The crowd is excitedly waiting for the match to start, players are practising with their horses before the match, the staff members are setting up the scoreboard, the chief guest has just stepped out of his car, the last touch is being provided to the field when the umpires step in the field. Some players change their horses, get themselves clicked and mass around the umpire in the half-court. The umpire blows a loud whistle, the crowd gets anxious and excited at the same moment, the chief guest throws the ball for the play to begin and the finals of the VI La Aguada Cowdray Park Polo Trophy begin.

The sixth edition of the La Aguada Cowdray Park Polo Trophy was hosted together by two of the most renowned Polo clubs worldwide, La Aguada polo club, Open Door, Argentina and Cowdray Park Polo Club, West Sussex, UK. The annual international competition featured four teams up to 12 goals. The tournament which opened on November 27 was a five-day tournament and the tournament witnessed the finals on November 1 at the La Aguada polo club, Argentina. La Solucion faced Irongate in the fidgety finals.

La Solucion team comprised of Juan Jose de Alva (+3), Facundo Retamar (+5), Francisco Benoit (+2) and Pablo Sarmiento (0) while the opposing team, Irongate comprised of James Scott Hopkins (0), Miguel Novillo Astrada (+8), Alejandro Pistone (+4) and Mia Novillo Astrada (0). The feisty final of the La Aguada Cowdray Park Polo trophy witnessed a taut battle in the first half of the match but the match was completely one-sided in the second half. La Solucion completely turned the match towards their side in the second half and defeated Irongate by 9 – 5.
